In addition to the many other bodily changes taking place during pregnancy, a mom-to-be can also have changes in the eyes. These are usually transient and go back to normal after the pregnancy, but it is wise to keep a close watch on them with an eye examination if...I had a great experience at eye theory as a new patient. I was in and out within an hour. The doctor took the time to address my concerns and I didn’t feel rushed. When choosing my frames I didn’t feel pressured into buying the most expensive pair, they were willing to work within my budget. I’ll be back and can’t recommend them enough.
Just had a very ODD experience. Went to this location because it showed up on my insurance as a provider. I was in the area and decided to stop in to see if I could find a nice frame. No prescription needed, since I have been going to the same optometrist for the 10 years and have a recent prescription. I recently misplaced my glasses that I purchased out pocket. So, I figured I would use my insurance benefits to purchase these. Long story short, they buzzed me in and asked if I was a patient I answered no, just wanted to look at the frames. I started towards the frames and and was asked by one of the 4 people at the front desk if they could see my ID. ID?..do you mean insurance card, she responded, "no, since you're not a patient, we'll need to see your ID for our insurance purposes." I'm thinking, is she serious? She was and very adamant! With hesitation I gave her my DL, watched her take it and review it and returned it. I looked at a few frames but could feel myself getting upset and decided to leave. I understand the business is on the rail line, but you might want to consider relocating your businesa if this has to be ypur regular practice. I hate to say that it was racial, but very much think that was the case. I should have followed my firat mind and went to the Bellaire location. Sad thing is the doctor as on of the 4 people standing behind the desk. I recognized him from the website. Eye Theory Midtown, do better!
