New glasses are a big investment. While getting a new pair of glasses is exciting, many often wonder what they can do to prolong the lifespan of their glasses to get as many years of wear out of them as possible. How to Properly Clean Your Glasses When it comes...by Eye Theory | Nov 8, 2021 | Eye Conditions
Around the age of 50 you will likely experience a situation called posterior vitreous detachment. This presents with the phenomenon of intermittent flashes of light and new floaters that can interfere with vision. This experience can be rather frightening as these...I had a wonderful experience with Eye Theory and Dr. Karbaschi. I have a somewhat unusual situation with my eyes, and Dr. Karbashi was very patient and thorough and really helped me out a great day. It was also easy to make an appointment and the location is very convenient. Thank you!
Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about every patient as they take their time and answered all of my questions. They also had a large selection of glasses/sunglasses. That being said you must be aware of their scheme to pay thousands of dollars for laser treatment of “meibomian gland blockage”. The optometrist used scare tactics such as saying I will have permanent damage and long term consequences if I didn’t take care of this now. As a physician myself (who really pressed the guy at the time bc I was skeptical) I waited a few months to see an ophthalmologist (a physician who specializes in eye care). This week I finally had my appointment and the ophthalmologist said there are no issues with my glands and simply gave education on gland hygiene. She said she has had a few patients in the last months come to her concerned over this issue and then on exam their glands are fine. This saved me a few thousand dollars. Please do no fall for this money grabbing hoax.
