I recently had an eye doctor visit with Dr. Jonathan Tsao that was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff was professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient, ensuring that my appointment started right on time. Dr. Tsao was truly exceptional. He was not only knowledgeable and experienced, but also had a great bedside manner. He took the time to explain every step of the examination process, making sure I understood what was happening and why. He answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, which I greatly appreciated. The examination itself was comprehensive and meticulous. Dr. Tsao used state-of-the-art equipment to check my vision and eye health, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. I was impressed by his thoroughness and dedication to providing the best possible care. What stood out to me the most, however, was the personalized attention I received. Dr. Tsao took the time to understand my lifestyle and vision needs, and tailored his recommendations accordingly. I felt like a valued patient, not just another appointment on his schedule. Overall, my visit to Dr. Jonathan Tsao was a great experience. I left feeling confident in the care I received and reassured about my eye health. I would highly recommend Dr. Tsao to anyone in need of top-notch eye care.
Absolutely do not recommend this place. Had a new patient appointment scheduled at 10:30 today, and before I got to see the Dr, one of the front office staff members went through their pricing policy. Exam was a $20 copay - normal. BUT in order for them to actually write you a prescription so you can purchase lenses, they will charge an additional $100-$130 (price difference was whether or not you had an astigmatism, I believe). This is completely separate from purchasing the frames, lenses, etc. What is the point of an exam if they will not give you the results without having to pay above and beyond the exam copay? It feels like nothing more than a money grab. The worst part of this experience for me was with another member of the front desk staff. As I was asking for further clarification on the breakout of charges from the person I was speaking with, she walked passed me towards an exam room and made a comment under her breath along the lines of “well this is how it’s always been, I don’t see what the problem is.” I responded and told her that her behavior wasn’t appropriate, I cancelled the appointment and walked out. I will not ever go back. Shockingly rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend.
I had the best experience with Eye Theory of West U. My husband also had a great experience. They were able to see me in a timely manner, were on time, efficient and the location was incredibly clean. The doctor was personable and knowledgeable. We have already recommended them to our friends! 10/10 experience. Will definitely return.
