This doctor saved my vision! He caught an issue on my exam and correctly referred me to an ophthalmologist. I ended up requiring preventive laser surgery to avoid a retinal detachment. He was the first doctor to notice the issue! Highly recommend him!

Arguably the best eye exam experience I've ever had in my life. Cordial assistants and Dr. Tsao had me in and out in under 40 minutes - with a same-day appointment! Excellent use of technology from their electronic, tablet-based intake process to the video eye chart exam itself. A covered garage where they validate your free parking is an added bonus. I see why they have such a high rating. These are the folks to see!!

I recently found myself in a bind when I lost my scleral lens removal plunger while I was out of town in Houston for the weekend. After calling around to several optometry offices without any luck, I reached out to Eye Theory. They were incredibly kind and told me to come pick one up, free of charge. This level of customer service, especially for someone who wasn’t even their patient, speaks volumes. If they treat a non-patient with such care, I can only imagine how well they treat their actual patients. Highly recommend Eye Theory for their outstanding service and kindness!

I found Eye Theory in Midtown when my daughter needed an eye exam. Dr. Tsao is kid friendly, which is great because we had a bad experience the first time she went to an eye doctor. They have state of the art technology, and didn't push additional services or products. Their rooms were modern and clean. I didn't see many children's frames, but they did have a nice selection of adult frames, including designer frames. We parked in the parking garage and they validated our parking before we left. All in all, pleasant and efficient experience!
