Hi, I'm Dr. Amir Karbaschi and I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston and earned my doctorate at the U.H. College of Optometry. I completed my clinical rotations at the College of Optometry Eye Center in Houston and Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, TX. My rotations focused extensively on providing primary optometric care and the management of diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and ocular emergencies.
As a licensed therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist, I’ve had the privilege of working in many multifaceted clinics treating complex eye conditions including postoperative LASIK and cataract complications. I strive to deliver a unique experience to every patient and make them feel empowered about their eye health.
I look forward to providing exceptional eye care to all of the surrounding communities. When I'm not in clinic, I enjoy playing tennis and competing in Spartan Races. I'm an avid Houston sports fan and love supporting my alma mater, Go Coogs!
