Hello, I'm Dr. Tsao (pronounced sao). I was the kid sporting the stylish coke bottle glasses and the patient who could not sit still for the eye puff test. Fascinated by the therapeutic optometrist’s ability to treat and manage ocular diseases, I decided to pursue my career in optometry.

Upon graduation from the University of Texas at Austin, I came home in pursuit of my doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry. I completed my clinical rotations at the Vision Source Ambulatory Surgical Center, Glaucoma Ocular Diagnostic and Medical Eye Clinic, and Binocular Vision Training Clinic.

My internships specialized in ocular disease and surgery. My training at Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, TX focused on dry eye disease, glaucoma, and ocular trauma and infections. My internship at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK provided advanced training in ocular disease and surgery. At NSU, I also interned at the W.W. Hastings Hospital, treating ocular emergencies.

Eye Theory is a culmination of the knowledge and skills developed over the years. I want to improve the quality of life for others, just as my optometrist has done for me. I would be honored to be your primary eye care provider and have you join our family.

Why Optometry?
I’ve always been interested in the anatomy of the eye and how vision can really impact one’s life. I love helping others and have a passion for fashion. At Eye Theory, I have the perfect opportunity to do both!

Favorite frame line?
My favorite frame line is Tom Ford. I love their fashion forward approach. You can not only see but feel the quality difference of a Tom Ford frame. A true statement piece.

Do you have any hobbies?
Swimming. I am currently in the process of obtaining a scuba diving certification
