Many people experience strange visual phenomena such as flashes of light or strange “floaters” in their vision. These visual experiences can be alarming and confusing, especially the first time they are noticed. In most cases, these symptoms are...Just had a very ODD experience. Went to this location because it showed up on my insurance as a provider. I was in the area and decided to stop in to see if I could find a nice frame. No prescription needed, since I have been going to the same optometrist for the 10 years and have a recent prescription. I recently misplaced my glasses that I purchased out pocket. So, I figured I would use my insurance benefits to purchase these. Long story short, they buzzed me in and asked if I was a patient I answered no, just wanted to look at the frames. I started towards the frames and and was asked by one of the 4 people at the front desk if they could see my ID. ID?..do you mean insurance card, she responded, "no, since you're not a patient, we'll need to see your ID for our insurance purposes." I'm thinking, is she serious? She was and very adamant! With hesitation I gave her my DL, watched her take it and review it and returned it. I looked at a few frames but could feel myself getting upset and decided to leave. I understand the business is on the rail line, but you might want to consider relocating your businesa if this has to be ypur regular practice. I hate to say that it was racial, but very much think that was the case. I should have followed my firat mind and went to the Bellaire location. Sad thing is the doctor as on of the 4 people standing behind the desk. I recognized him from the website. Eye Theory Midtown, do better!
Amazing customer service, polite, friendly and professional..Sahar the receptionist remembered my name after having been there just briefly with my husband. Dr Amir was an incredibly good listener, very patient and happy to answer all my questions. Very thorough, gentle, humble (despite his clear expertise!) and talked with me through the full eye exam process. The whole experience was stellar. Will not hesitate to return and HIGHLY recommend. Thanks Doc and Sahar for making the whole process so easy.
I had the best experience with Eye Theory of West U. My husband also had a great experience. They were able to see me in a timely manner, were on time, efficient and the location was incredibly clean. The doctor was personable and knowledgeable. We have already recommended them to our friends! 10/10 experience. Will definitely return.
