There are many recommended health care appointments for children, and a comprehensive eye examination with an eye doctor is an important part of these. It may be confusing as to when you should bring your child for an eye examination and what can be done at each age....by Eye Theory | Nov 11, 2020 | General
Have you ever wondered how your eyes actually see? It is an incredibly complex and intricate process that allows light rays to contact your eyes and transmit signals to the brain in an instant. Beyond simply getting through all the structures of the eye and being...Just had a very ODD experience. Went to this location because it showed up on my insurance as a provider. I was in the area and decided to stop in to see if I could find a nice frame. No prescription needed, since I have been going to the same optometrist for the 10 years and have a recent prescription. I recently misplaced my glasses that I purchased out pocket. So, I figured I would use my insurance benefits to purchase these. Long story short, they buzzed me in and asked if I was a patient I answered no, just wanted to look at the frames. I started towards the frames and and was asked by one of the 4 people at the front desk if they could see my ID. ID?..do you mean insurance card, she responded, "no, since you're not a patient, we'll need to see your ID for our insurance purposes." I'm thinking, is she serious? She was and very adamant! With hesitation I gave her my DL, watched her take it and review it and returned it. I looked at a few frames but could feel myself getting upset and decided to leave. I understand the business is on the rail line, but you might want to consider relocating your businesa if this has to be ypur regular practice. I hate to say that it was racial, but very much think that was the case. I should have followed my firat mind and went to the Bellaire location. Sad thing is the doctor as on of the 4 people standing behind the desk. I recognized him from the website. Eye Theory Midtown, do better!
Dr. Amir and Sahar are amazing! I scheduled my appointment first, and Sahar was great at communicating everything needed up until the time of my appointment. They were very welcoming and thorough with their examinations and explanations of everything. My wife scheduled her appointment a few weeks later and received the same treatment. The overall esthetic of the clinic was cozy, clean, and comforting. There was not a long wait time at either of our visits. We both definitely had amazing experiences, and we will continue to come to them as long as we are in Houston.
I’m very near sighted and I need to check my retina every year. I took optomap here and it checked multiple angles of my eyes. (‘Most places I went to only checked the front) . Dr Kabaschi is very nice. He went thru my image with me very carefully , and he manually checked my eyes too. He is very responsible and thoughtful. I will recommend this place.
Had a great experience at EyeMed today. The receptionist (Sahar) was friendly and explained my benefits and payment responsibility clearly. The optometrist (Dr. Karbaschi) was also friendly during the exam and helped me understand my eye health better. The glasses frames available here are a little on the more pricy side, but all their product seemed high-quality.
