When the summer sun shines high, sunglasses become more than just a trendy accessory – they become vital tools for safeguarding your eyes and skin. Not only do sunglasses add flair to your style, but they also provide essential health benefits. By blocking out harmful...Just had a very ODD experience. Went to this location because it showed up on my insurance as a provider. I was in the area and decided to stop in to see if I could find a nice frame. No prescription needed, since I have been going to the same optometrist for the 10 years and have a recent prescription. I recently misplaced my glasses that I purchased out pocket. So, I figured I would use my insurance benefits to purchase these. Long story short, they buzzed me in and asked if I was a patient I answered no, just wanted to look at the frames. I started towards the frames and and was asked by one of the 4 people at the front desk if they could see my ID. ID?..do you mean insurance card, she responded, "no, since you're not a patient, we'll need to see your ID for our insurance purposes." I'm thinking, is she serious? She was and very adamant! With hesitation I gave her my DL, watched her take it and review it and returned it. I looked at a few frames but could feel myself getting upset and decided to leave. I understand the business is on the rail line, but you might want to consider relocating your businesa if this has to be ypur regular practice. I hate to say that it was racial, but very much think that was the case. I should have followed my firat mind and went to the Bellaire location. Sad thing is the doctor as on of the 4 people standing behind the desk. I recognized him from the website. Eye Theory Midtown, do better!
My visit with Dr. Karbaschi was great. The clinic itself is very clean and elegant, but also welcoming at the same time. When you walk in, you are greeted and checked in by Sahar. She explained the process very well, especially while using the machines for the preliminary exam/tests. Both Sahar and Dr. Karbaschi are both very professional and friendly. Dr. Karbaschi took the time to answer my questions, he thoroughly examined and talked about the next steps. He also discussed multiple options to properly fit what I needed. Overall highly recommend Eye Theory at West U and the team.
Eye Theory West University provided the best eye care I have ever received. They were upfront about the pricing of their services. Dr. Amir was extremely polite and professional, and he thoroughly explained the results of the eye exams they conducted. He even asked if I would be interested in trying a different brand of contact lenses and tweaking my prescription slightly. I followed his advice and couldn't be happier. Eye Theory genuinely cares about their clients and ensuring they have the best eyesight possible.
